This was a great little privately owned station. Unfortunately they are permanently closed now. Very sad.
Little over 2 weeks ago the owner passed away, (Shorty Wilson) prayers for his family which has been a Parton this community of Summerfiels since I was in my teens. 🙏🙏🙏
Just a good old country store that sells a little bit of everything that you might need, including gas that is usually priced a few cents lower than gas stations in the surrounding 2-4 mile area. Right now they are in the process of updating the payment process at the gas pumps so you have to pay inside. Plans are for the update to be completed in July. The cashier was friendly and helpful to answer some questions I had.

Definitely go to this gas station for multiple reasons. Being a Harris Teeter member is the main and obvious reason. Bur since the station was built it stays fairly clean. Well lit at night is also a big plus. I mainly just use the pumps which always gave the option of plastic gloves for use. Overall the station is the main station i fill up all my vehicles at.
