With the shortage of fuel in Ascension Parish, and 1-3 hr wait times for gas, the staff and volunteers here at Fred's Food Mart, have a very good system for the lines of vehicles waiting for gas. There are four lines formed away from the pumps. When someone is done pumping, the car in first line gets to go, then the car in the second line and so on. They are very helpful and patient. They will also instruct a driver who comes in and drives to the pump to please go get in line. And everyone has been patient and polite.
Some of the cashiers are very nice but there are a couple who aren’t so nice
