You can pay at the pump, which is handy when no one is attending the shop, which you won't know about until you arrive - there was just a sign in the door "back at 2pm". No regular hours. Also, forget about a toilet stop if the shop is closed. I asked a rude local who when asked said there aren't any, and none in the area - no suggestion of where the closest might be. Not his job, but then why bother asking if I needed help in the first place? There's plenty of options for gas (with amenities) nearby, give this one a miss.
