Phillips 66 in Hillside (1399 Chestnut Ave)

Great location and reasonable prices. The hot food is delicious

I pulled up to the pump and the man came up to me and asked how much. I told him how much and which fuel I wanted. In fact, I told him several times that I wanted REGULAR 87 octane fuel. He kept repeating the words, “So, Premium.” as if I said premium. I told him AT LEAST 6 FREAKIN’ TIMES! In the end I left after getting only half a gallon of, you guess it, PREMIUM fuel at $4.29 a gallon. I watched him look at me, look down and press premium. I literally had to hang out of my window in order to shut the pump down. So now here I sit, waiting for this large hold on my account to finalize so I can get some freakin’ gas. Ridiculous. Oh and it’s not that I am just a cheapskate… If I run Premium in my car I have to change the entire tune! It’s a hassle and I leave a regular 87octane tune on my car for a good reason.

A nice, clean store with a lunch counter. Bathroom is outside like moat gas stations, but I have seen much worse.
