ARCO in Hermosa Beach (1131 E Pacific Coast Hwy)

No frills gas station, only accepts debit and/or cash, no credit cards. No fountain soda machine- NOT an AM/PM, and the air machine requires a receipt from gas purchase to turn it on or else it's $1.00. The new air machine now accepts cards as well as quarters. The cashier can no longer turn it on remotely. If you want gas for a low price, come here. If you only have a credit card, want a fountain soda and/or cup of ice, or if you need to use the restroom, I suggest finding a different location. The cashiers are hit and miss. Either not doing anything so they have time to B.S.and don't care about you taking your sweet ol' time, or, they are so busy trying to do other things at the same time as ring up customers, or have more pressing matters to attend to, that they tend to make the customer feel rushed and they come off as rude, short, and/or impatient.

the overall look at the station looks really good. I can tell it's been updated within the last past year or two.

Conveniently located off the pch 1 and near my house. Multiple pumps and normally not too busy

Credit card machines don’t work at the pumps you have to go inside. There’s no liquid or brushes to clean your windshield. Completely out and empty.

Cashier/manager always courteous. Inside the station is very clean and uncluttered.
