I attempted to use my AMPM rewards card when completing a purchase. I had the barcode up on the mobile app for the graveyard cashier to scan with his barcode scanner. He refused to scan it, stating it was a picture of the barcode and literally demanded that I show him pulling it up. I was so shocked at the utter stupidity and blatant rudeness that I cancelled the transaction. It wouldn't have mattered if it were a screenshot of the barcode or the app, a barcode is a barcode, it doesn't matter what's displaying it ... The whole situation was ridiculous. I haven't been back since and I used to go nearly daily for an iced coffee.
