76 in Moody AFB (7277 Robbins Rd)

On base. Do not know if this is tier 1 fuel or not, and "management" does not know either. i have never heard any one say that there was a problem with the fuel here. Station is well lit. restrooms have bern remodeled. All adult beverages are sold as well.

Great prices. Tax free coffee, and beer the way god intended.

Moody AFB AAFES has subcontracted out to VALERO to supply fuel for the Shoppette pumps. So what does this mean for the customer (?), In my honest opinion, what I think is the ability for AAFES to purchase (through DOD) and set their own price (for the military members/family) is GONE !! Now it's about the same price as it is off base. It is convenient, and always clean, so there's your bonus.

On base

Apparently no US AAFES station, including Moody AFB, has Highway #2 Diesel Fuel! NEX, MCX & CGX stations have Highway #2 Diesel Fuel. Appears that HQ, AAFES is unaware of or uncaring that some USAF and Army active, reserve, guard, retirees, and their family members may have diesel engine powered personal vehicles. Interesting that AAFES Diesel engine products are available on store shelves.
