Chevron in Berkeley (1500 University Ave)

Sign says diesel fuel is 349 or 359 per gallon. In reality it is 399 or 409 per gallon. Bait and switch. Very shady

The diesel pumped very slow.

Not the cheapest, But always open .

Chevron stations are always way too overpriced.

The people at the station are friendly and it's easy to get gas.

Not the cheapest, but reliable with fair prices. Amenities are fine, customer service is fine.

stations have odd placement but clean

Pretty bare-bones shop, nothing to write home about. One outdoor bathroom, not the worst kept, but being out of the attendant's sight probably leads to it getting less attention. They also lock the doors fairly early (9 or 10 pm, I'm not sure which), so even the limited variety of snacks is even less accessible. The price is always on the good side for the area, but there's nothing else special -- especially with a 7-11 across the street.
