Chevron in Northridge (19260 Nordhoff St)

Love this station for two reasons. Typical lowest price in valley and offers lower price by 30 cents if you add on any car wash. Which is great in this summer heat.

I live next door to this gas station so my teens and I stop here often for quick drinks and snacks. It’s an odd environment inside. It’s not very well maintained. Only half of the soda fountain even works. The business is definitely ran with a clear distrust of the customers. You have to show a purchase receipt to gain access to the restrooms. You also have to go to the counter to purchase a fountain drink before you can get a cup. It’s weird because they use the same gloved hands that they handle money with to give you your drink cups/lids. Also, watch out on how they ring you up. A fountain drink is $1.59 (only one size) but this morning I went in for two fountain drinks but the cashier rang me up for two $2.29 coffees. I called him out on it but he acted like he didn’t understand English all of the sudden. At 7am, I felt it was not a battle worth fighting so I just paid for it and left.

Lower prices please

Normally feel safe here. Close to a shopping center. By a bus stop though.

Very clean

This particular Chevron has heavy traffic majority of time for a couple of reasons. 1. Corner of Nordoff/Tampa. 2. Bus stop on Nordoff. A. At times, too many people waiting for bus can overlap into one of the gas pump lane. Avoid this Chevron unless necessary.

Good location

The lighted price sign and the smaller price sign have not matched for weeks. The lighted price sign is much lower than the actual prices.

This spot has a higher price compared to Costco.
