ARCO in Tacoma (1101 N Pearl St)

Please be careful driving around the back side of the building! I've seen too many close calls during the few short years we've lived here. I've almost gotten hit myself from someone flying around the corner, to get a spot at the pump. Also, please be mindful of children that may be present when you decide to cuss someone out and start a fight. Most of us adults don't want to see or hear that either. If someone cuts you off, act appropriately. I hear at least once a week the cops are called.

No restroom

Kind of sketchy people in and out from the affordable housing across the street. The food and coffee are always fresh. The self serve food and drink areas are clean and fresh. Very popular spot that can be pretty busy because its the last quick on and off of Hwy 16 before you go over the Narrows Bridge and its usually the least expensive place on Gas Buddy in this area. I hear about people getting bad gas at ARCO but I've been going to that stay in every level of quality of car and never had a problem.

A pretty solid place overall. The parking lot is small for the amount of traffic it can get so you may have to back in or drive around the store for a place. The self pay kiosks have been down for weeks and I've noticed some regular pan handlers there. I've always had solid, consistent service, though.
