Esso in Sunderland (12 Centre St)

This is the only gas station around that you have to pay for before you get your gas. Which really sucks very annoying!

The night shift old lady with glasses usually has attitude

slightly higher prices than surrounding areas, but overall a good station with no major issues.

All lights on 24/7, waste of money. Owner is a miserable old cus who couldn’t smile if he tried.

Washrooms definitely have the "yesteryear's service station" look and vibe lol. Order yourself a meal from the restaurant inside; you won't regret it although the pricing/quantity could be a little more reasonable in my opinion but good overall 👍
