Shell in Statesville (907 Old Mountain Rd)

Usually the same price or lower than other stations in the area on gas. Convenient location.

The parking area is very small, congested, with no clear traffic flow marked. Had numerous near misses in parking lot because its of layout. Parking and traffic areas also have serval alignment ruining potholes.

The people are okay, but if they have a line & another clerk needs to run a register, they take their own sweet time doing so even if the line is to the door. The last time I was there, no one was at a register and the older man took his sweet time getting there after coming in from outside. By the time he did, 3 others were lined up behind me. Management needs to up their game because if they don't, I won't continue to go there. My time is valuable too and they're on the clock to wait on customers, not smoke & talk to their friends.

Great service and prices

Usually some of the lowest prices here..cramped lot for cars to get gas and move about..staff usually kind. Grill available at breakfast.

Only problem is there are only 4 pumps and too many of the locals think it's OK to park at them and go inside to shop for 5 to 10 minutes creating long lines of cars waiting to pump gas

Not bad, average for the area.
