Shell in Battle Creek (2802 Capital Ave)

very small station. plan your departure before filling. Intersection out front of the station is busy most of the daylight hours. Inside there is a good selection of groceries and snacks.

Every place in town is $2.89. I go to shell for my fuel rewards. When I got to the pump it said $3.19. I went inside to confront them and one girl covered her mouth almost like she was laughing and then another girl said the price on the pump was correct. So I asked her if she was going to honor the price on the sign and she said no. So I checked my gas buddy app and it also stated that gas was $2.89. So I canceled my transaction and reported it on the app and went elsewhere

Price gouging. At night it’s the only place open and it gouges prices by cranking up the price. They should be reported.

Station is located on a very busy corner. The staff is well trained.

Above average station. Corner stations are good for easy in and out. Prices are more competitive than in the past. Check them out!

Friendly staff

Very clean and friendly little pit stop. Also hugely convenient that it’s hop on and hop off the highway which gives it extra marks in my opinion. Fairly limited selection on food and drinks but there are some nearby fast food spots so if you need to get fooded up you’ll be fine.

The remodel is great, but change out the floor mats more often.
