got here with 13 miles left to E. i pumped 13 cents and everything stopped! no one here, then I see half-erased sign that says gas stops at 7pm!!!!! i lost my 28c a gallon discount too. PISSED.
If somebody whom I won't name stopped confirming every area gas station without visiting them, then the app would work great. You'll find there name as a top contributor for every gas station within 5-10 miles of Germantown. Gasbuddy works when actual, physically seen and reported prices are submitted. It doesn't work when wrong prices are just confirmed just to have "Top Contributor" status. I won't go to a station if "#1" was the last to report the price. Wrong info perpetuated makes Gasbuddy unreliable. It's beyond difficult to report habitual offenders to the company. If you want to be sure about the price at the station, don't rely on the top contributor with scores on the 20s for a dozen plus stations that are miles apart from eachother.
