Exxon in Columbia (7100 Minstrel Way)

This review is based only on 87 octane gas. I stopped in to fill my tank. The price for 87 octane is ROUTINELY $0.40/gal to $0.50/gal MORE than just about any other gas station in a 1 to mile radius. I saved myself $5.00 by avoiding filling my tank at this station. Everything here is overpriced and marked up. Maybe its the location and rent, I dont know. Either way, I avoid going here unless absolutely necessary.

Station is run by scammers. They ALWAYS post prices that are lower then what you'll pay at the pump. The sign on the highway shows the price IF you get a car wash. This lures you in, and unless you check the pump price you'll never know. They are deceiving and should be fined for such a fraudulent practice. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE SCAMMERS!

They posted 3.19 but the price at the pump is actually 3.39. Another way to get potential customers to stop at their station.

They have everything they need to support the app. They have the QR codes, the app (and Walmart) even recognize it. But when you go to enter the pump or scan the code it’s then an invalid pump. Just enable the apps already. I could’ve saved 10¢/gal with my Walmart subscription and frankly it’ll make a difference where I go to fill up next time

No support for Exxon Mobile or contactless payment, so as another reviewer said you will always be taking a risk with skimmers.

Skimmers are rampant at this location. My credit card info was stolen twice in a month. Would not recommend if using the pay at the pump, since they take no measures to stop the use of skimmers.

Gas prices here are ridiculous. Go to Royal Farms on 108. 5 minutes away.

Typical 40 year old Exxon station. They have updated the pumps and car wash, but not much else. Car wash is a newer LaserWash (touchless), which I like a lot. Price of the car wash is about $1 more than another LaserWash about 7 miles NE of here. Re Walmart+, I agree with F1sh98. Walmart+ discount currently does not work here. The problem MIGHT be that I have an old Walmart+ app, or that I'm using an Amazon Prime credit card (blocked?). Anyway, I used to never buy gas at this Exxon station (too expensive) until RFS opened across the street. Now the gas prices are at or slightly below average for Columbia MD (Columbia MD is typically more expensive).
