Ramco in Ramona (741 CA-78)

good fueling station, low gas prices, access for big trucks / big rigs / RVs , decent cheap wine selection, beer, lots of road snacks and some pre-made food as well, not much of a drive out of your way if you're headed south out of Ramona or west to Escondido, perfect pit-stop for a drive up the mountain toward Julian, valley center etc. the hometown truck stop that has everything

The restrooms here, located around the back of the building, are FILTHY! I stopped in here to use them more than a couple of times, and they appear to have been untouched! The snacks, chips, and cookies are way over price($3 for a 2cookie package-not gourmet type either)! The soda fountain machine has dispensers that are labeled out of order and not repaired over long periods of time. They are mislabeled as well. The "Fruit Punch dispenser produced some kind of blue liquid.… Fuel prices here are in line with other stations in the area. The only advantage this station has, in reference to fuels, is that they offer propane and kerosene and red diesel.

Easy access off Highway 78 but very busy road. Facility has lots of space for RV access and multiple pumps.

As of today 4-8-23 their outside sign states $4.59 but their pump price charges $4.69.

No bathrooms

Large station with lots of pumps and room turn if you have a large vehicle. Pumps cut you off at $150 so its noce if you need to make a large purchase.

It is a pretty convenient and affordable location to make a quick stop for gas and store items and the big guy is awesome ;)-
