Amoco in Concord (5501 Poplar Tent Rd)

Stopped here for gas & a drink bc the QT tanks were being filled. The very limited soda machine was not working. Got a bottled drink that was Luke warm. But there was a very odd smell - not cleaner & not food related. Won't be a place I go again.

Friendly staff and they have a post office.

Prices listed are not accurate. Was curios about the diesel price almost $1 per gallon lower than others in the area. Pump price was the SAME as area stations. Conclusion: prices listed on Gas Buddy are not accurate for this station. Not stopping there again.

For some reason, a couple users keep reporting an incorrect low diesel price for this particular station. Seems a little “bait and switchy” to me.

This station takes your Harris Teeter fuel points and is definitely cheaper than the Other stations nearby that accept the fuel points (mainly BP stations). You must press cancel on the screen before you decide on payment method (inside or outside). The directions for this are very small and I’m sure they don’t want you using the points. Before I was able To locate the directions, I went inside to ask how to redeem, and NO ONE knew anything. They don’t want you using the points…period.

Station needs attention from the restrooms all the way to the windshield washers

Gas pumps are always out of order and the people that work there are not all that friendly

owner will overcharge you so better kbow ya math
