Kwik Serv in Richmond (1503 Carlson Blvd)

False prices are being reported here. Today it happened again. This is the third time the gas at this station was reported as being the lowest in the area. Only the first time was it true. Luckily it’s close to my house and it’s right off 80 so I didn’t go out of my way. But this has happened at other stations in El Cerrito and Oakland. It seems intentional too. At another station, an hour after I reported the correct and much higher price. the same person who reported the wrong price changed it back to the same wrong price he’d reported the day before. It’s a classic bait and switch. Gas Buddy needs to get control of this problem before people stop using this platform. They need to ban users who repeatedly report the wrong prices, and maybe stop listing the stations where this is happening, too. If you see a price listed that seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Their big sign advertises low prices, but it doesn’t say anything about that only being the cash price. Only a very small sign on the ground lists separate prices for cash and credit.

Kwik Serve doesn't have gas at the price you listed. it was ten cents higher at its lowest cost pump.

Tired of showing up at a gas station to get a good price on gas and it’s been posted wrong as this gas station here is it says premium for 519 actually preview 569 I’m about ready to delete this app because they can’t get a control of people reporting false prices
