The Dormont CoGo's at Bway & Potomac is a staple convenient store for the downtown Dormont hood. The staff are fun and down-to-earth, prices at the pump are typically 1-2¢ below regional competition, and they keep it clean. What's more, they're open 24/7, which is hard to find in South Hills communities. Sadly, though, Dormont Borough has some antiquated muni codes that prohibit this place of business from expanding to meet more neighborhood customer needs. Namely, (1) no alcohol selling institutions within certain distance of houses of worship, and (2) excessive parking space requirements. #1 means they can't participate in the Commonwealth's expanding rules on alcohol sales, and #2 means they can't expand their store to better reflect their primary revenue generators (ie food-drink-lotto > fuel).

Great gas Station

I've been to this station a half dozen times, because it's the closest to my house. My gas buddy card consistently has been declined, both at the pump and in the store. My card works at every station near and far. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm not going to try again.

Close to T station
