This is my preferred gas station, I like the fact that I can still pump my gas first then go inside and pay for it, old school. Nice they know there are still some honest people, security cameras help but all stations have them.
These guys always have the best price around, and it's usually 20 to 30 cents per gallon lower than anyone else. However, the pumps do not accept cards so you'll have to go inside -- and not once, but twice (to ask them to turn on the pump, and then to pay). Having to trudge inside through the all-too-often crappy Michigan weather, and then and wait in line behind the guy who can't decide which lottery ticket or kind of chewin' terbacky to buy, is one of my pet peeves. I also noticed an extra unannounced "NON CASH ADJ" charge on my receipt; presumably a surprise penalty for paying with my debit card instead of cash. The amount chewed up about five gallons' worth of savings, or about a third of what I saved by going there. It also comes across as false advertising. So...If you don't mind the inconvenience and you like paying with cash, this may be a good option for you. If you want to pay with a card without being penalized -- maybe not so much.
