The only gas you can put in your car here is 87 unless your vehicle is flex fuel compatible. They are shady about disclosing ethanol content the 87 is 15% the 89 is 20% and the 93 is 30% this information is located towards the bottom of the pump out of sight if standing at the pump
I will NEVER stop here again. I found out after filling up by a local at a hotel nearby that the 93 Octane in 30% ethanol. They don't have that info where you can see it when you pull up and are at the pump. I talked with the cashier in the store and she wasn't very nice with her comments. Probably cause she has to deal with all the complaints. I told her I was going to report this and she said go ahead. The info should be for all to see in plain site above so people know, not on stickers down probably at knee level underneath where it's hard to spot. Very bad business practice!! Never again!
This location does NOT disclose the percentage of ethanol in its "premium" gasolines. I found this out the hard way. With that said, I've filled up here a couple of times with super premium 93 octane gas (30% ethanol apparently) and didn't notice any significant change in engine performance or fuel economy.
I was excited when I found out I could get E85 here in Mcpherson.
My '06' Chevy Cobalt has no issues with Jump Start fuels, but my '56' and '66' International tractors have difficulty if there not kept at full throttle.
High ethanol fuel... with no label on the pump to warn customer. Fuel mileage was crap
Started to put best value premium thought something was odd so stopped and changed to 87 octane. Went inside and asked if they were all low ethanol except the yellow nozzle. The lady wasn’t very nice and said they are 30, 20, and 15 and are marked below pump. I went and looked they don’t say anything about ethanol. Down near the ground two say for flex fuel and one says for most cars very deceptive and shady. Luckily I didn’t put more than a gallon of 30 % in my car. Should have went to Love’s
They sell "premium " gas that is 30% ethonol, and do not label the pumps. When I asked how much ethonol was in the premium, I was directly lied to and told 10%. I then paid 200.00 to get it removed from car to not destroy engine
They don't tell you that you are getting 30% ethanol on your 93% fuel. I'm so furious because I already messed a engine up with ethanol. It should be marked in plain sight but isn't even posted in small type. Don't use jumpstart unless you are looking to buy a new engine.
Very happy to have E85 here available. Thank you!
