Sinclair in Carson City (837 Retail Ct)

We had to decide between coming here or Maverik, but when I saw that the Maverik owner was the one who posted the price on Gas Buddy, we opted not to go there because the managers have been dishonest based in past experiences. I was glad to see that the Maverik gas price was correct on Gas Buddy.

I would avoid getting gas here. The inside in nice and clean and the staff is generally pretty friendly. The gas here on the other hand is a different story. Yes, like other have said they align their sign prices with the neighboring Maverick a block down the road; however, on the sign for this gas station they don't indicate that price is only if you pay with cash. If you pay with card its instantly 10 cents more but that is not indicated anywhere, against Visa and Mastercard policy. They pumps say they are top tier fuel but that is false. If you look at the top tier website this station is not listed. I contacted Top Tier them to make sure and sure enough they indicated they were not a top tier station. No machine has receipt paper, ever. Oddly enough, this "Sinclair" isn't even listed on their corporate website. From what I can tell this is simply a Golden Gate Gas station with Sinclair as their logo and name because the trucks that bring fuel here from Northgate Petroleum Co

There is no exit at the RV/big rig pumps. To get out we had to make a U-turn with a 45 foot RV towing a trailer.

Friendly. Nice coffee bar. They charge for debit card use but you can use credit for no charge.

One of the best Sinclair stations in Northern Nevada. Right off 580, clean bathrooms, and DinoPay now works for 10 cents off. Same price Cash/Credit when I visited on 2/7/23.
