This is an old general store gas station and dinner the food is actually not bad at a reasonable price.
If you need gas, this is your only choice for miles and miles. Support the local mom and pop station. If you don't, they will cease to exist. Imagine knocking on someone's door trying to buy at least two gallons of gas that was intended to be for their lawnmower. If you think Whipple's is expensive, I'll bet that guy would charge $5 a gallon. Providing that you could find some. I doubt Whipples is even making any money on the gas. They are providing a service. So what if it's a few cents higher?
