Hales is local and awesome ppl who run it. their gas prices are always cheaper than anyone else
Card slots at pumps are blocked with tape so you can’t use your card. If you go inside, your gas buddy debit card will not work. Your transaction will be denied. Staff knows this and will tell you in advance that your card will not work. What good is a “deal” if you can’t get it ? This station may be the “cheapest around” but if you can’t get the discount here then it’s cheaper to go elsewhere where the gas buddy discount is honored. Station staff admits that everyone who tries to use their gas buddy card has the same problem.
