Shell in Warren (431 N Huntington Ave)

Pumps are “very particular about what cards they like”. I gave two different pumps a chance at reading my chipped VISA and went up the road to Shell after two strikes.

Daughter was in her way home from Taylor University and her low tire pressure light came on. She had no change for the air machine and went inside to get change for a $5 bill. Cashier refused to provide her change. Thanks for assisting my desperate daughter!Will NEVER give this stain my business!

Even though the decor is outdated, the restaurant Punjabi Dhaba (Indian cuisine) has excellent food and some American items as well. They also have a bar with cold carryout beer. The bar and restaurant are open until midnight 7 days a week, but because of Indiana law there is no carryout of alcohol on Sundays. There are several other services available from mechanic to massage to a CB shop on the property as well. Free wifi is currently available indoors and soon to be offered outside to trucks for a fee after network upgrades are completed. Unfortunately, ventilation is slightly lacking and occasionally a customer or two in the restrooms will stink the place up. Overall a great truck stop with low fuel prices (gasoline and diesel) for being locally owned and operated.
