Shell in De Forest (6162 US-51)

receipt printers do not work on many pumps. missing squeegees. winshield washer fluid is dirty. need to pay better attention to these basic things for better customer care.

I stopped here for diesel. The price is wrong!! They will NOT let me use my shell rewards for diesel so the listed price with the shell discount is WRONG. Also to pump diesel, they make you give them your credit card and they keep it. I don’t like it out of my sight so I won’t come here again. The price is wrong, cannot use your shell rewards and they kept my cc so if there’s some random charges on here or my cc number had been stolen, it’s because of this gas station.

Most pumps do not work. Diesel pumps requires one to walk a CC inside and then walk back in to complete transaction. Bathrooms nasty. Workers were polite.

GasBuddy card doesn’t work at diesel pump

The car diesel pump ate my card. Had to go in and get pliers to get it back out. Brought pliers in and tried to prepay because the card reader wouldn’t work, and they said I’d have to go back in again to close out. 3 trips in at 11 degrees, I went elsewhere. The employees look like meth heads and I had to stand there waiting for them to finish bickering back and forth. Never again.

Was unable to use GasBuddy again. I have never been able to use my card at this station successfully. The pumps never accept the card at the pump and when you go inside it's always declined. I always have a problem using my gas buddy card at this location. I end up paying for diesel without any discount. What's the point of having this station listed when it never works, and no one can tell me why.
