For me, Ragged Point is where Big Sur begins! Yes, insane prices, but at least it's here for you. I ALWAYS stop here, but NEVER buy gas here. Incredible surroundings!
absolutely ridiculous gas prices!! I was stuck so had no choice...but will never stop there again. there should be a law!!
Right in Hwy 1 Snack bar, ice cream, espresso bar. Restaurant Entertainment on summer weekends. Motel / Inn.
Of course the prices are high here! Plan ahead people. This is the highest priced gas in the country because it's California AND it's difficult to get to. Consider what it takes to get a fuel truck here.
