Diesel prices are displayed by owner but was $2.19 not $1.79 as stated. Why would an owner lye?

Owner is blatantly lying about their fuel price. as of 3/19/2020 it is $2.25, not the $1.85 they keep updating it as

They lie about price all the time. Do not trust! $1.69 was actually $2.09 at the pump. I reported wrong price and within 5 minutes it had been changed back to the low incorrect price. The price is not a mistake, it is deliberate. I will not trust or buy from any Caseys in the future.

The owner constantly reports diesel prices, .40 cents lower than they are.
