Thorntons in Lakemoor (28937 IL-120)

The price listed for gas is only for members of the club or somesuch. Went out of my way to go there and was very disappointed because of this. Price listed for regular unleaded ought to be the price that everyone pays not just members. .

The staff is friendly, the station is well lit & clean, there is a good variety of things in the store, lots of drink options & the gas prices are very competitive. NOTE: The person who write a review SAY ng that the gas prices reflect "club prices," don't know what they're talking about. The prices listed are the same prices for everyone. They do not have "member pricing." Those who chose to join their rewards program do not get discounted gas, rather, they get POINTS for purchases, which in turn can be redeemed for discounts on (or FREE) items in the store. That's it! 😁

They constantly jack there prices up, noticed significant drop in MPG lately, bathrooms are always dirty. You can go down the road most times and get gas almost .50 cheaper when they decide it's time to jack there prices up.

Gas is bad quality. My MPG got reduced by 25% after filling up here.

The employees at Thornton's gas station are always pleasant and a joy to talk to. The whole place is kept clean and well stocked of all necessary items.
