Clerk inadvertently paid for my gas using someone else's prepay credit. The pump didn't give me a receipt as I needed. I went in for it. They called out the manager in confusion and when I tried to pay for my gas, she wanted to process it as a "drive off recovery." I said "no." She was insistent that's how it's done. I told her she will NOT process anything under my name that implies it says I drove off from a gas pump. It was a stalemate - as I was going to call the police over it. They let me leave without paying. I've never ever been back. I never will.
