Safeway in Show Low (900 W Deuce Of Clubs )

New manager at Pinetop safeway. Store is now running better than it ever has.

Price Gouging! Diesel went up 42 cents per gallon in a 48 hour period. Their weekly ad items are always out of stock and are just a way to get you into their store to pay double what everything was two years ago. I will no longer be buying my diesel or food at Safeway. They are scam artists.

I had 3 gas Safeway "rewards coming, so we decided it would be worth it to go to Safeway. The gas price almost everywhere else in town was around 2.79 - and that was 6 cents more than it had been the day before... but at Safeway, the price had shot up to 2.97!! and once we realized the price was that high, it was too late because my card had already been accepted. You can be sure I was not happy with Safeway, so I called the rewards line right away and told them that a 20-cent hike in the price was hardly fair to us tonight & I thought they might credit me with a gas reward or two for this episode... Nope - checked with a supervisor - and they arbitrarily agreed that nothing could be done... pretty lousy customer service! And we've been loyal customer for more than 20 years!! (unhappy face)
