Station Star Ratings Now Visible on New Version of GasBuddy App List Screen to Assist Customers When Selecting a Location

Buc-ee’s #1 in All Categories Capturing the Top Spot for the First Time


BOSTON – (October 11, 2017)
– GasBuddy, the only smartphone app that connects drivers with their Perfect Pit Stop, today issues the quarterly report card revealing which gas station convenience brands topped the list in the third quarter of 2017 and also announces that station star ratings will now be prominently displayed on the list page, the most viewed page on the app.

GasBuddy’s data science team compiled the findings by examining the ratings and reviews data between July 1 – September 30, 2017, only considering convenience stores with more than 30 retail locations.

Texas-based Buc-ee’s with 33 locations is making its first appearance on the GasBuddy Perfect Pit Stop Report Card by capturing the top spot in all six categories. In the previous Q2 report card, Illinois-based Kelley’s Market was the leader in these six categories and is currently ranked within the top three in all categories. Kwik Trip, QuikTrip, and Wawa continue to rank high and make a strong showing for another quarter.

Station Star Ratings Now Displayed on App List Screen

GasBuddy users have filed more than 2 million reviews and nearly 10 million individual ratings on customer service, outdoor lighting, cleanliness, restrooms, coffee and overall experience covering more than 140,000 retail locations where gasoline is sold.

Now the average station star ratings will be displayed on the list screen, the most viewed page of the GasBuddy app, to help consumers more easily find the perfect pit stop.
