The new owners will change the prices of items as they see fit, regardless if the price is on the shelf. I brought my niece in for some candy and the guy behind the counter literally doubled the price of the candy. I normally would have told him my thoughts but not with my 3 1/2 year old niece with me. So being a sucker for her, I bought it anyway.
